What beautiful plumes you have, my dear The marsh and the hill above with pampas grass at the top is seen against the late morning light February 23, 2002, Montara, CA. This area of Rancho Corral de Tierra used to be in agriculture, and more recently a wide area around the marsh, and some of the marsh itself, was graded to reduce brush. No effort was made to remove pampas grass.
